Bird ringing results from 2025!

Licensed bird ringers Charlie & Ingrid had a very busy 2025 on Lindow. The ringing consisted of 5am starts, using nets to capture the birds, and in one case they worked through the night using thermal imaging!

Having this data is so important as we can now see what is new and what is returning to Lindow year on year.

The ringing is supported by a generous grant from the Cheshire and Wirral Ornithological Society and no birds were harmed during the ringing process!
