Lindow Moss at the Wilmslow Artisan Market

It was so good to be invited by Transition Wilmslow to the Wilmslow Artisan Markers on the 17th May. Georgie, Gary, Rick, Lisa, Flo and Izzy represented Friends of Lindow Moss where they ran a competition asking the public to guess on a map where the Lindow Man was found, all answers were put in a box and the winner will receive some binoculars.

They also had lots of information on the ongoing restoration of the Moss, along with leaflets on walking routes and the Lindow Moss Landscape Partnership. The best bit of the day was talking to lifelong residents of Wilmslow and hearing their stories of how the Moss has changed in their lifeline!

It was a chilly start to the day, but it brightened in the afternoon. Thanks to everyone that came!
