Year 4 visits the Bog!

We had The Ryley's Primary School on site last week to learn all about Lindow, Lindow Man & the plant and animal species that live here! The highlight for the year 4 classes was trying to find creatures lurking in the undergrowth. They collected each animal carefully in a pot, looked at it under the magnifying glass for a few seconds and then released it back where they found it! They were chuffed to find loads of species including spiders, woodlouse, ladybirds, young toads and a grasshopper! 🐸

When asked if they want to walk back to bus the normal way or the adventurous way, of course they picked the latter. The smiles say it all, they LOVED walking through vegetation way taller than them! 🌿🌱

If you have a school or community group that wants to come for a guided tour / activity on Lindow, or for Lindow to come to you, please email Izzy on Izzy.Cook@groundwork.org.uk 😊
